 Job Description

Time served heating engineers required in the West Midlands and Leicester areas – both 1 man and 2 man teams – immediate start available

Employed/Self Employed – Immediate Start, Long term contracts 2022

RST Boilers are a well-established family run business, with over 10 years’ experience in the home heating industry.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as an integral part of the business installing boilers under the ECO 3 Scheme.

Engineers need to be skilled in one or more of the following areas

  • Combi and Regular boiler swaps
  • Conversions
  • Vertical Flues

For Sub-contractor engineers, the position is offered with the following:

  • Weekly pay – 7 days after invoice (1 week in hand)
  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Longevity of work – if you want 5 days a week no problem, we will ensure to provide consistent work opportunities
  • Flexibility of work – if you can only do 2/3 days a week, this is also fine
  • Dedicated Members of staff to speak to – all qualified engineers
  • CRM system to use – more or less paperless apart from your gas documents

For Employed engineers the position is offered with the following:

  • Company Van, Fuel Card will be provided.
  • Saturday work and overtime available.
  • Company pension scheme available.
  • 28 days holiday (Inc Bank Holidays)
  • Dedicated Members of staff to speak to – all qualified engineers
  • CRM system to use – more or less paperless apart from your gas documents

Requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Must have current domestic gas qualifications.
  • Must have good all-round experience in all aspects of heating and plumbing. Including Y plans and S plans (preferred)
  • Great with customers, proud of their work and up to date with Boiler Manufacturer’s Instructions – Glowworm Betacom, Ideal Logic, Worcester and Potterton boilers
  • Must have a Valid UK Driving license

Experience:

Relevant: 2 years (Essential)

Current Gas Safe Qualifications (Essential)

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (Preferred)

NVQ Level 3

Licence:

3 Points maximum (Essential)
